True Love Is Hard to Find

Image
There's a myth out there that true love is hard to find. And rather than get into a debate about what true love is and whether or not you can actually find it, I'm going to offer you a way to find true love and just invite you to try it for a month or two--what's the worst that could happen? You might not find your true love; however, you might just find an amazing love. So, what I'm proposing is using the law of attraction to attract your true love to you. The law of attraction is the idea that like things are attracted to each other, and this includes "vibrations", which is to say moods and paradigms. So, if things agree, then they work in harmony, and if they don't, then they clash. In this context, the law would suggest people who say "true love is hard to find" have never been in "vibrational harmony" with true love or someone they could truly love. By which we'd mean that these people through their thoughts and emotions held t...

Positive Energy - How It Gives You Magic Powers

Image
Positive energy is something that we all yearn for. I have a friend who epitomizes just that. He is a ball of positive energy. He isn't special to look at, at all really. But when he comes into the room, everyone seems to be influenced by the positive energy oozing out of him. I have observed him minutely in many circumstances. If something negative happens, it seems that he is up and running in no time. It's almost annoying sometimes! Luke dresses in nondescript t-shirts and worn jeans, and, as I mentioned before, no one would turn to look at him twice if he didn't exude that energy. It is like a magic magnetic force that he owns and draws people and good circumstances to him. In fact, people call him Lucky Luke! Life is Motion itself. You see, what Luke has realized, is that everything is "in Motion." The universe, although we don't see it this way, is a mass of motion. It really is not possible to stand still, because Life is Motion itself. If you ever look...

Increase Your Levels of Positive Energy With Your Mind

Image
How much energy do you have during your day? It is so important to have a good amount of energy from when you wake up in the morning to when you are ready to go to sleep. Although energy does not come from sleep. Rather it comes from your mind and the foods you eat. Having a healthy mind-set and eating nutritious food to fuel your body will make a difference in your results from day-to-day. You can experience two forms of energy. The first is positive and the second is negative. One of the internal functions which produces energy is your emotions (energy in motion). Motion creates movement as energy controls the direction of your movement and determines the level of energy you produce based on the level of thoughts you have. We live in a ocean of motion. Nothing stands still. The patterns of thoughts you think influence your behavior which becomes a contributor to your energy waves as well. When you think negative or find yourself surrounded by negative people, negative energy can beco...

SMARTening Up Your Goals - Gain Your Goal Setting Advantage and Develop Your Leadership Qualities

Image
For far too long, consultants, trainers, gurus and leaders have been misleading us about goal setting. We keep hearing the same myth that people with written goals achieve greater success in life. I fell afoul of this story myself - after all, it came from the pages of a famous author and I've seen it repeated again and again - most recently in an article published by the Professional Golfers Association. The trouble is that this story becomes linked with the concept of setting SMART goals, for which there is some evidence, but written goals? So, I felt that it was time to set the record a little straighter and based on just a little bit of real research...      Goal-setting is one of those things that people, it seems, are near unanimous on its importance to life, career, success, achievement. And there are a great many speakers who advocate goal-setting. The latest 'fad' in this is The Secret - Rhonda Byrne's now famous TV/Film Documentary which, in a nutshell, p...

Tapping Into Positive Energy Sources

Image
Life requires energy. Just like moving a car across the road, or a plane through the sky, our actions in daily life require energy to achieve any momentum. We need energy to run our daily lives, to perform actions, and to make changes. We need energy to meet deadlines, work towards our goals, and achieve success. Simply put, we need energy to live. But often we use the wrong type of energy. We take the easy (but ultimately flawed) path of tapping into negative energy sources because it can provide instant results. Instant results come at a price though and that price is long-term unhappiness. To overcome this we need to shift our focus. We need to develop the ability harness the positive energy sources in our lives because these come with a much set of side-effects: happiness, fulfillment, and success. Negative Energy Sources Negative energy is energy derived from stress, anger, anxiety, hate, and fear. These energy sources provide a quick burst of explosive energy which can be u...

Fuel Your Passion With Energy Positive Energy!

Image
According to Physics, energy is the capacity of a physical system to perform work. Energy exists in several forms such as heat, kinetic or mechanical energy, light, potential energy, electrical, or other forms. Wikipedia defines energy as: It is often understood as the ability a physical system has to do work on other physical systems. Since work is defined as a force acting through a distance (a length of space), energy is always equivalent to the ability to exert pulls or pushes against the basic forces of nature, along a path of a certain length. Or this: a measure of this capacity, expressed as the work that it does in changing to some specified reference state. It is measured in joules (SI units). Symbol E See also kinetic energy, potential energy. Wow. Very technical isn't it? It even goes on further, but I think you get the gist, right? Think about it for a moment. Energy is even involved in thinking! Energy, in whatever form, is responsible for our every day survival. Our e...

Make the Best Use of Your Talent & Showcase Your Talent Here!

Image
Our talents are our natural abilities or exceptional abilities to do some things, with little or no training, these are sometimes, activities which we take little or no significance of and usually not obliged to take seriously. For the purpose of this article, I will like to distinguish between a talent and a hobby. A talent usually, is an activity that requires some skills, whereas hobby does not require much skill. For instance, it could be my hobby to like clubbing every night; this certainly is not a talent. However, I might decide to make writing good poems my hobby, which definitely, is also a talent because one needs know-how to write poems. There is no hard and fast rule in becoming an expert in those activities that we have learned to do either by natural flair, through a bit of training or self development other than make it part of us, by doing it time and again. There is no doubt that constant practice is a key to success in any skill that we aim to perfect, even in those e...

Tips on How to Get Famous Using Your Talent

Image
In today's fast-track recession-hit world, we are deeply engrossed in securing our futures economically. No time for entertainment, no time for relaxing and no time for appreciating the talent around us. Resumes, work experience, projects, appraisals, IT skills, etc. are of top priority to the unemployed and the 'unhappily employed'. Students are caught up with their back- breaking study schedules and nerve -wrecking competitive tests. Everyone wants to be popular but where do we have the time to do something in this direction? Here are four quick steps to get famous by virtue of your talent: Channelize your talent Do not waste your talent. If you sing well, have audio clips of your songs. If you are a dancer, record your performance; if you are into acting, record your acting skills, so on and so forth. Ensure you have good quality recording else your talent would go unnoticed. Nothing is more annoying than poor quality audio or video that hampers proper listening or watch...

Overcoming Disability Through Purpose Discovery

Image
Physical disability is not purpose disability. Your bodily challenge doesn't change your purpose or passion. Your challenge is not a passport to change your passion. It shouldn't make you not do anything that you are capable of doing. You have a purpose to pursue and achieve; your physical challenge cannot change it. You must fulfill destiny regardless of the challenge you face. Physical challenge is not a permission to be pushed around by relatives and friends to do any job. Furthermore, you don't choose a field because somebody that has the same challenge with you is in that field. Your friend is a doctor, and he is an amputee like you, it is not a guarantee that you will be prosperous in the medical field. You are not called to be a blind musician because Stevie Wonder is successful. Any physically challenged person can spur you to pursue your passion, and not to duplicate his own career except if you are passionate about the field. Nobody should force you to do what you...

Famous People With Learning Disabilities

Image
We tend to think of famous or successful people as having it easy in life, or they somehow got lucky. We admire them for what they have or for what they have accomplished and sometimes wish we were just like them. The truth, however, is often very different from what we imagine. You might be surprised at the famous people who had to overcome a learning disability. More often than not, people are shaped by the obstacles they overcome - such as a learning disability - more than by inherent talent, intelligence, luck or money. Perhaps no one in modern history matches up with the labels genius among genius's, great thinker and super intelligent more than Albert Einstein. He revolutionized the way we see the universe more so than anyone else in the last several hundred years. No scientist since Isaac Newton can match Einstein's genius and accomplishments. But he suffered from not one learning disability but a whole host of them. He was diagnosed with dyslexia, attention deficit di...

Can I Change the World? Change One Life at a Time

Image
Too often we think that one simple act can not make a difference in the world. Too often we think helping people requires massive action and too many of us feel too small to do something so big. But as I in teach in self-esteem, motivation, and even WordPress, it takes small steps to reach a big goal. You can not climb a mountain in one step. So rather than change the whole world, what if you changed one person's life? You do not have to do the impossible. You can make a commitment to help one person with something big or something small. What you do may very well change the world for that one person. This may change the world for every person in that one person's life. What if you help others get involved? Another way to change the world is to tell others about this project. Get others involved in making a difference in the world and your impact will be even bigger. This is why Disabled Life Hacks Project was created, to share how you can help others and encourage others to ...

Change Your Thoughts and You Can Change the World

Image
Thoughts race through our minds, an internal monologue of ideas, great thoughts, indifferent things, and even criticisms and mean thoughts. Sometimes the onslaught of ideas is too much and you open your mouth and say things you very quickly regret. A succession of embarrassment, sorrow, follows and you wonder what can you do. What can I do? While it may seem impossible to change your thoughts or even to slow the cascading flow of thoughts it is possible. A river does not typically change course suddenly, but slowly moves. There are those who can change a river quickly, and those who can wake up one morning and decide to change thoughts for a better life. For most it takes minor changes that build up and provide success. Why should I change my thoughts? For many people, negative ideas and thoughts are more common than positive. Even if the negative thoughts are directed at yourself, they are destructive. If they are directed outside, you do not know what consequences will happen. ...
